[SOLVED] Ubuntu can't accept SSH connection.

Hello.
I installed Ubuntu 14.4 LTS BUT I can't connect to it via ssh. it show me :

ssh: connect to host 172.30.14.63 port 22: Connection refused

how can I solve it?

Make sure that you have sshd-server running on the box. If it is not you can start it by:

service sshd start

If it says unrecognized service, then install it using:

apt-get install sshd-server

If that does not work then run:

apt-get update

Once update is finished run:

apt-get install sshd-server

Then check using service sshd status if it is running or not, if it is not running start it using: service sshd start. Try to ssh. This is based on my personal experience with Ubuntu 14.04.
