Wine Question

I'm trying to get a cisco router emulator up and running on my system for my ccna coursework. I've got an emulator, unfortunatly it's a windows version. It's Sybex CCNA Virtual Labs.

I've got wine installed and working on my Slackware 10.1 machine, however when I run the program I get this error message.

Code:
This executable requires the Asymetrix Toolbook runtime system. Please make sure these files are installed and in the PATH.
I've looked at these runtime files and there all present, so how do I add them to my path? Any help will be greatly appreciated as I'm not currently running any Windows machines and it's really important that I get this running soon. Thanks.

Find the Asymetrix directory and type "PATH=CORRECT_PATH:$PATH" where CORRECT_PATH is the location of Asymetrix.

Ok, you lost me. I know where the Runtime (Asymetrix) directory is. Where do I type the "PATH=CORRECT_PATH:$PATH" though?

Do I need to add that into a configuration file somewhere?

Ok, I think I got you. I cd into the directory with the runtime library and execute the command? Do I point that command to the directory or do I need to specify a file?

EDIT:

I actually just tried both and it's still not working.

At the command line, run "export PATH=CORRECT_PATH:$PATH".

Easier version, say the runtimes are located at /usr/local/bin but that's not in your path. At a console, it does't matter what directory you're in.
Code:
export "${PATH}:/usr/local/bin"
