solaris 10 boot problem

Hi all,

i installed a solaris 10 x86 yesterday. Until today it was working very fine. I didnīt change anything in the boot files but it gives me now an error while booting. Can Anyone help?
I receive those messages:

"Run Error: File not found. could not run now"
Select (b)oot of (i)nterpreter: Run Error: File not found.
Could not run 6"

And after about 20 cycles it ends by spitting out 30 copies of "boot:
too many active sources"

Which file exactly canīt be found and how do i fix it?

10x for the replies

You didn't specify the exact scenario where it failed. Are you trying to reboot the machine with "reboot" command? or are you trying to boot a dormant system by just powering it up?

Hope you can find some clues from the following thread:

HI, thanks for the reply.

I had read this thread before I wrote my query aand it didnīt help. Well the error occurs on booting. It is given from the boot manager while booting. In fact, i have no access to the system:
As i wrote:

Select (b)oot of (i)nterpreter: Run Error: File not found. Could not run 6
I donīt find anywhere on the net such problem. And i really donīt want to reinstall the whole system. If you need some more details just ask.

thanks again
