please jeremy, can you change my username to "fbov" ?
Hello, I am removing anything on the internet that connects me to the username "<old_username>". As you can see I have changed my email and even deleted the previous one (and even renamed my machine and not renewed my historical domain name). I don't want to re-register since I have already setup my LQ in a fancy way, subscribing to threads and so on.
Would you please change my username to "fbov"? That'd be great.
How do I change my username?
If you'd like to change your username, please use the Contact Us form and let us know what you'd like your new username to be. Due to the size of the LQ user-base, you may want to include multiple choices, in the order you'd prefer them.

I suggest, then, that you edit your original post in this thread as it nicely ties the new name you want and your old name together in the same place. So, anyone googling your present username would find this thread pointing to your new one and could follow on from there.
If you're serious about anonymity never mention one username using another.

You're welcome. It's an easy thing to overlook and I've seen a few instances of people's other internet accounts being found due to somebody managing to make a link between usernames.
