Wifi setup on FreeBSD

It would have been nice to see the OP's /boot/loader.conf along with /etc/rc.conf

I'm on FreeBSD 8.2 (on my laptop), and using wife when needed or usb wireless modem (ppp). Works fine.

There is no /boot/loader.conf

/etc/rc.conf

hostname="acer32"
keymap=uk.iso.kbd
wlans_ath0="wlan0"
ifconfig_wlan0="WPA DHCP"
sshd_enable="YES"

That is all, didn't see anything else relevent, in either
/etc or /boot

Hope it's of use.

fatmac, thanks for the info. I took a look at the GENERIC kernel and saw ath there.
Hope the OP got wireless working.
