SMPlayer for me, thanks. It has mplayer goodness wrapped up in a clean, easy to use and configure interface.

MPlayer straight from the terminal is really all that I need to play any audio and video files. MPlayer will get the job done just as well as anything else.
But for those who want a clean and easy to use front end GUI for MPlayer, then SMPlayer makes for an excellent media player.
