Cool Would like a forum devoted to Linux on a large LCD wall screen

Like I suppose many people are doing, I now run my Linux Mint sitting in a Lazyboy while viewing a large screen TV on the wall.

So perhaps a forum devoted to the ultimate in lazy surfing -LCD screen surfing? Currently my concern is discussion of settings that improve viability when sitting 6 to 10 feet from the wall screen.

Thank you
Will

I'm doing that now.

But no, I think that would be to narrow a subject for a forum.

If you want larger on-screen fonts, you just set the DPI to 120 or whatever.

The other main technical issue is getting audio to work over HDMI, which just works out of the box on a lot of distributions (or so I hear).

And a sub-forum dedicated to discussions of the best satchels to use for carrying laptops.

And a sub-forum for everything GIMP.

We could very quickly have a thousand sections on the board.

Thanks for the feedback. I'd agree that this topic is far too narrow to have a dedicated forum here at LQ.

Maybe have a forum dedicated to graphics? It could be a sub-forum under "Hardware." And we might be able to keep going with that and have sub-forums for network, audio, mobo/chipset, wireless...
