Question server getting hanged while mounting

HI,

I am facing the issue, while mounting servrt is getting hanged.

mount 10.10.10.1/test /test (while running this command server is getting hanged)

I have defined in /etc/exports

/test 10.10.10.2 (rw,sync,no_root_squash)

I have started nfs, portmap services.

Please suggest how to troubleshoot the issue.

Similar to your other thread:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...gs-4175459388/

...and the questions chrism01 asked still need answers. You don't tell us what version/distro of Linux, or give us any output from your logs. Both of which are good starting points. And you say your server is 'getting hanged'....do you mean the ENTIRE SERVER is dead, or just that ONE terminal window, where you typed that command??

Try to use these mount options:

10.10.10.2# mount -o nolock,nfsvers=3 10.10.10.1:/test /test

If it works, check why.
