VLC behaves differently with same conf file for dvb-t tuning in Linux and Windows

Hello,
I have a good .conf file for digital-terrestrial transmissions in my country and I use it with VLC. Its entries are like this:
MTV MUSIC:690000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_3_4:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INT ERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:6132:6133:120
I created it with some dvb utility.
I have some problems when I use it with VLC in Linux: some programs are not played, like thery are not transmitting at all.
But if I switch to Windows on the same machine and with the same usb-tv interface and still use VLC with the same .conf file, those programs are correctly played.
Is it possible to understand why this happen? And is it possible to solve?
My usb-tv interface is recognized as WideView and the ubuntu non-free package is installed for firmware.

Start VLC from the commandline and switch to a station that does not work. See if you get any error messages on the commandline and post them here. This may help to understand what is happening.

In terminal I see some error messages but they are issued for any channel, working or not working: there is no special error when I select the channels that do not work. Note that vlc displays the currently broadcasted TV program title as the window name also when those channels are selected but the video is not displayed (just on linux). Thank you in advance for any useful hint.

Does it show the real name of the channels or the ones specified in the configuration file?

When I select one of those channels it displays the configurated name first and then, after some seconds, it displays the exact program title on air at that time. I do not know if it retrieves it from the internet or from the broadcasted signal.

I assume that the information is retrieved from the broadcasted signal (which can easily be found out with disconnection the machine from the net), so this may be an issue with video decoding.
It may help to set up logging in VLC so that we can see what is going on behind the curtains. Open the preferences (Tools -> Preferences), choose to show all settings (bottom left), the choose the Logging screen (Advanced -> Logging), specify a logfile there and set the Verbosity to the highest level. Save the settings and try it again.

Yes, I tried disconnecting from the internet and the title is updated the same. So I hope it is an encoding problem, but I set the logging to a file and no logging is written. Which level of verbosity I have to choose? There is no limit.

Set the verbosity to 3 (debug level).
