Question gksu-polkit syntax problem

Hi !

I can't launch "complex" commands as root.

Code:
gksu-polkit xterm
is working, but
Code:
gksu-polkit xterm -e top
doesn't.

How to solve this please ?

try
Code:
gksu 'xterm -e top'
but pressing q causes shell to close so I can't kill anything only look

suggest if you need root powers keep it simple
either
create a desktop entry that calls a terminal using root
or
open a terminal go to root and see something then kill it
