Replacing ths failed mirrored disk in Solaris

Hi Guys,

I have some questions regarding disk replacement of failed mirrored disk in Solaris

1.As Sun Engineer said I can directly do hotswap of failed disk with new disk, then do I need to do metadetach and metaclear before inserting new disk as the disks were mirrored?

Please guide
Thanks
