Reasons you use 32-bit Slackware or not

More and wider registers, packages compiled to make use of at least some of the advanced features of modern CPUs, less overhead when managing memory above the 892MB mark. Only the reasons I can pull out of my head without much thinking, but I think there are more.

I maintain 32-bit Slackware on my girlfriend's laptop with 6 GiB of RAM: in my experience, KDE and firefox eat up less RAM this way.

The box on which I run Slackware happens to have a 32-bit processor, as does one of my other boxes. I have only 1 64-bit box.

I run 64 bit on the desktop I have that is capable but my 2 laptops are 32 bit only so they get 32bit of course....

Once my hardware upgrades to 64 bit I would run just that. I really like it. I do not even go multilib, just 64bit pure.

I strayed from Slackware for about 6 months but came back to stay..... it runs so well, just love it. And, the new documentation project site is totally awesome and has helped me a great deal already.

I can only use 32 bit on couple older laptops and 1 desktop, pure 64 bit has been running great on my new box.
