I'd say go with whatever you think would be best for you. My last few installations, I used Debian Live: http://www.debian.org/CD/live/

scroll down where it says CD and DVD.

Do you know what architecture processor your computer has? if 64-bit, then you can pick the amd64 download. If 32-bit then download the i386.
