I am Facing same problem in Centos 6.4 OS. I have created /var/lib/ricci/.libvirt directory in ricci server.

[root@node1 ~]# ls -ld /var/lib/ricci/.libvirt/
drwxr-xr-x. 2 ricci ricci 4096 Nov 9 06:15 /var/lib/ricci/.libvirt/

Version of libvirt:-

[root@node1 ~]# rpm -qa | grep libvirt
[root@node1 ~]#

But still getting same below error.

Error receiving header from node1:11111
