Can not connect to wicd but have internet access?

Hey every1!!
so i have Virtualbox running BT5R3 i can connect to the net wireless and run airodump etcetc.. but when i look at wicd manger its says wired connection and wont scan for wireless devices..when i make prefrences look for wlan0 sometimes it will scan sometimes it wont but when it does and i try to conect to my router it says "Bad Password" OR it will connect me for a short while then disconnect when im running a programme like reaver or anyother..does anyone have a soulution for this problem??
my system specs.
mac osx Latest version
wireless card is Alfa AWUS036H

Go to vb menu and change it to bridged and that should solve it.

allready changed to bridge en1(airport)(something like that) still not helping do i have to install drivers or something?
