Made The Plunge

Okay, I gave in. Don't like the name but I can't deny that this is an awesome distro!

Made the plunge and swtched from Mint to Fuduntu. So Far so good - Since I'm well vested in RPM distros I felt right at home right away.

Is'nt Fubuntu ... debian based? Is'nt that a DEB based distro? Nonetheless, the 'buntu "sisters" are a great bunch, I came over from Arch to Xubuntu, feels stable too...

Eh, just showing feedback, I know what it's like to post something no one answers/reacts to...

Haha thanks! Actually Fuduntu (node the d and not b) is a Fedora Fork that is a rolling release.

Been looking for a distro that is RPM based that is a rolling release. Didn't like to re-install Fedora every 2 years :-)

I have a few Debian based systems here...but we are 90% RHEL/CENTOS here...so I'm pretty comfortable with it.

So have I!!!!! My last Fedora was 10, after that I looked into (and got stuck there) Arch Linux. THE reason was the two-yearly re-install...

I have to learn to read, but the evening classes are too much

I misread, what do you know? I'll look for it and give it a generous look-over...Fedora is the one I learned from the most in the beginning, Arch followed logically, but can be a risky thing to run as a must-trust desktop, honestly...
