Post How Run a software as root user.


Hello All.
I install a software but when i want run it,it need root user for some reason when i use command line and use su command for become root and run it,it work properly.can i join my software as root that don't need su command?

It would be a real good idea to figure out why your program doesn't want to work (there should be error messages that will give you a hint) before you start modifying things; if it's failing, it should be telling you why it's failing and you need to correct that first. Too, you don't mention just what the program is or what it is supposed to do and that might help to point you in the right direction.

Most of the time, when something requires root permission to run, it's for good reason. The only good ways to run software as root are to use Sudo <program> as a user that is allowed to use sudo, or su to root then run it. Either way will prompt you for a password (Sudo asks for the user's password, su for root password).
