Site Down Time

Looks like the site was down for awhile today. I was unaware of the problem as I was at LinuxWorld. If you notice any other problems let me know ASAP. Thanks for the understanding.

well I understand, can't say I was happy about not being able to check the site all day at work but I'll forgive you . However maybe you're being a bit assuming... there's not been time for a non-understanding to start yet!

Noticed it was down when I had a problem and needed to search for helpful threads. Totally lost without LQO!

Currently trying to install Irix on an O2, but had an Apache on Solaris problem at the same time!

Did you have a good day at LinuxWorld?

I knew Jeremy was at LinuxWorld, as everyone and their pet gerbil to do with Linux seems to have been there. I guessed that was why the site was down for a short while.
It missed it's master

I was crying, hysterical, and hopeless. I went to the bridge to jump off, but turned back one last time to check and see if it was back up.

Just kidding of course

I was on my lunch break, and my work has some questionable networking skillz, so I figured it was just their problem. Glad it's back up!

Cool

I was happy at that time because I was no longer distracted and could concentrate on my work.

I thought it was DOSes or something because it kept loading, but never gave a response, same way slackware.com did while it was under that DDOS attack a month or so ago.
I was so worried to go to #linuxhelp and ask Acid if he knows what's going on, but i guess he was busy..

yeah all the mods were in another-room-which-shall-remain-nameless trying to contact jeremy by pager, semaphore and carrier pigeon... actually i wasn't logged in to #linuxhelp all day, that would be my home machine. when i got home someone had said my name but it had scrolled off of the screen.

actually... i was mainly worried about tricky. since finny modified that knee-cap hub to connect directly to tricky's nervous system, i thought an extended lq outtage might make him go into seizures.

...god only knows what a ddos attack would do to the guy ...

Actually fin installed an updated state-of-the-art neuro sensor which will auto switch over to the autonomic nervous system so my body doesn't rely on LQ to function normally. So I was doing fine while LQ was down but I think fin needs to do some more work, at times I had trouble with my efferent neurones, causing paradoxed illusions during the downtime, but I'm ok though.
