new bug with ads and contributing members

After checking "don't show ads" they are still showing up.

The ads are the google ones up top and at the bottom.

And I double checked to make sure my browser accepts the cookies from here.

If you want to turn off ads for LQ - not recommended as its a source of revenue for the owner - then just add the servers to your hosts file.

Are you on drugs? I already donate money here - thats why I am a contributing member. Second it is a bug since that option is available in our CP settings. CP -> edit options -- at bottom says:

Contributing Member Options
Show Ads? Yes No X

You can read more here about the whole contributing member thing and the benefits you get with being one. I believe at first the option was Show Banner Ads? but I may be wrong. Yes its a bug I guess however you may notice that Jeremy has his hands pretty full at the moment. I suppose if they were the intrusive flashing kind it would annoy me but the google ones kind of blend in. Still, my host file removes them as well as a ton of others - strongly reccomend you check out

All the best!

OMG this is a bug post and nothing more. I have no idea why your going to leacture me about being a contributing member.

If you need to act important please help in the other forums where its needed and not this bug unless you can fix it or have access to fix it.

Until then it is a bug which only Jeremy can address and fix.

Thank you for wasting my time here on this.
