CAN WE USE OTHER THAN UART5 FOR DUMPING THE CODE IN FDI3250 board
Hi,
I am working on LPC3250 board with kernel version 2.6.34. In lpc3250 we have 7 UARTS(4 standard UART5 and 3 High speed UARTS). As per FDI board (future design board)by default UART5 is used for dumping the code into board on WINDOWS using LPC3250 SERIAL LOADER TOOL(Actually i am dumping the code in windows and booting in linux os) and UART1 is used for displaying kernel messages on Linux.
1.In WINDOWS Instead of UART5, can we use other uarts for dumping the code using SERIAL LOADER TOOL?
2. My another question is In LINUX kernel 2.6.34 version all drivers for UARTS are available or not?
Actually my main purpose to ask above thing is :
I can able to perform echo operation using UART5 from UART1 but i cant able to perform same operation with other UARTS like 2,3,4,6,7 from UART1. WHY?
IF ANYBODY HAVE IDEA ABOUT THIS PLEASE POST ME.
THANKS & REGARDS,
MOHAMMAD BIYABANI.
