Thumbs down Problem with audio card detection in pandaboard(cortex-A9) ?


Hi This is SrikanthPilli, i am using pandaboard(Cortex-A9), kernel (linux-3.4.rc2) and buildroot-snapshot. for my pandaboard, i installed mpg123,madplay,mpd using buildroot to play audio files.


1. when i type on console, like " aplay aaa.wav", it shows
" ALSA Lib confmisc.c:768parse_card) cannot find card '0'
ALSA Lib confmisc.c:4184_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver return error:no such file or directory
......

aplay:main:660:audio open erroe : no such file or directory"

2. when i try with "mpg123 -vC *.mp3", no error coming. all songs playing. but we are not able to audible. when i type cat /proc/asound/cards , it shows
0 [Dummy ]ummy -Dummy Dummy1
1[Loopback]:Loopback -Loopback Loopback1
2[U0x47f0xc001]: USB audio -Usb device 0x47f:0xc001 UsbDevice 0x47f:0xc001 at Usb-echi-omap.0-1.2.4 full speed


so kindly help me, why this error comings?
1. What i wanna do to solve this problem?
2.is there required any patches for this?

please help me to quit out of from this problem.
