searching for "seqls" command for listing Imagesequences

hello!

I know a Linux command called "seqls". This causes, e.g. an imagesequence being collapsed listed. That means:

imageseq.001.tif
imageseq.002.tif
imageseq.003.tif
imageseq.004.tif

will be listed like:

imageseq.001-004.tif

I had this command in a company, I was working in - I thought that it was already implemented, but under my Linux here it doesnīt seem so (knoppix)... is this specific? or whatīs wrong with that?

thnx for any replies!!

cheers!
