Problem with Slackware disk


When I boot up the slackware disk I got from the Iso, it says this

ISOLINUX 2.06 2003-08-22 isolinux: Disk Error 01, AX = 4250, 9F

CAn someone tell me how to fix this?

Best effort guess would be bad cd or bad burn to the cd

Damint, I just burned another cd and it don't work either, I am starting to wonder, was I supposed to do something before the installation? Casue the Website said something about diskettes, I don't know what that is, but anyway can someone chcek and see what I am supposed to do, I would but I don't understand that stuff

Alrighty man,

try typing media-check at the boot prompt. You might want to check the md5sum too.

I found this in a link whose language I cannot read aside from that bit. Hope that helps you.

I also read that you may be having problems with the BIOS, but I wouldnt know the details. You may have to update your BIOS which is not something you want to mess up.
