download manager like gozilla?


help,

does anyone here knows what software should i use for downloading that functions like gozilla, (has resume downloading).
im using debian linux

Doesn't Firefox include that now? Not sure.

I'm using wget, and I think there's graphical front-ends
to it, too ...

d4x seems to be pretty darn cool as far as download managers go. Hit Freshmeat for it.

apt-get install prozilla

It's for the commandline but supports resume. There is also prozgui, but I'm not sure if it is in an apt-get package, prozilla is though. That's what I use on my Debian.

I just checked and prozgui is available via apt as well. I'm using sarge so it may or may not be available depending on your release of Debian.

I currently use wget to download stuff and crontab to schedulle it when needed ...
I tryed d4x but t gave me problems like getting stuck with every single click on it so i returner to the pretty command driven wget
