Tintin, Time, and Hostname Issues

Hi all. I am having a big issue with Sabayon, when it comes to using tintin. I can get it to work once, but when I reboot, I can't get it to work now. To start it, one types tt++, but when I do that, I get tt++ couldn't be found. Any ideas?

When I shutdown my computer, my time doesn't continue to keep in sync correctly. Is there a means of forcing it to sync to the Internet.
And finally, my hostname, for whatever reason, gets reset to newhost. This was certainly not how I set it to begin with, so is there a way to stick the name?

Check and specify the full path leading up to the application.

Check your CMOS battery if old and see "NTP client".

No idea, have to find out where it is (or should be) defined. Usually somewhere in /etc.
