install rocks cluster on 46 nodes


hi everyone i have install my new frontend using rocks cluster 6.0 on centos 6 that contain this several rolls:
kernel
OS 1-2
ganglia
web-server
python
etc.
i need to install the rock on 46 nodes, should i have 46 kernel CD ore their is another option?
and if u can give me the steps

I might not understand your question.

I think Rocks supports some rather high number of nodes. http://www.rocksclusters.org/rocks-d...g-started.html

my task is to install the rocks cluster on 41 nodes, do i need a 41 kernel CD??
or there is a better solution to install rocks on these 41 nodes

If I understand this, you use the same kernel on all the nodes. You don't need 41 kernels.

How to install Rocks on Compute Node

Dear nkoula,

Rocks Cluster Supports over network installation. After installing the front-end u just need to set the bios(in compute nodes)to boot from network, in this case Rocks would be installed automatically on the compute node so u won't need even 1 cd!!
