yum version yum-2.0.5-0.9.2.legacy.noarch.rpm
 
now when i do yum upgrade i get a failover message which says "out of servers to try error getting filehttp://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/9/os/i386/headers/header.info [errno 7]http error can not send request"can any body help it would seem to be it is trying to download from a site which is not there because when i type that address in to my browser i get nothing any help lease

Hello i have rebooted my comp and now i am getting this error message when i ty in "yum upgrade" [root@localhost root]# yum upgrade
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/yum", line 6, in ?
import yummain
File "/usr/share/yum-cli/yummain.py", line 23, in ?
import yum
ImportError: No module named yum
does this tell any more

reddazz i cant answer that question i had been searching the forums and some one had it as a link for working well with redhat 9.

i have found it this is where i got the rpm from http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ht=yum+install and i was pointed to this page http://fedora.server4you.net/fedoral...cy-utils/i386/
