i am using Red hat enterprise linux core 4. i configured squid server. my clients are using yahoo messanger, they are unable to connect the messanger and some time they connects but disconnect after 1 minute. they are also unable to access the yahoo chat rooms.

did u check what port messenger is using , it uses some port higher than 1024 , check whether some other messenger service works well or not ?
