Exclamation windows eat start up menu of redaht 9 after reinstalling


hi i install win xp pro on c & redhat9 on e as dual booting.but my windows crash because of r&d work.then i reinstall win xp pro but now i am not getting redhat menu at startup now My pc directly boot into windows.When i insert bootable floopy of red hat then i can boot into redhat.help me for getting again dual booting menu

Hello pareshbhangale

I believe that Windows took over the MBR when you installed it.

Did you use the default boot loader (GRUB) with RedHat9?

Although I have not tried this, it should work. Using your boot floppy to boot into RedHat login as root.

Then enter /sbin/grub-install /dev/hda

The hda may be something else on your system. Get back with me here if you don't know about the /dev/hda thing.
