Why won't libaio-0.3.96-3 or sysstat-8.1.2-1 install?

It seemed to install, but when I check, I get the message that it is not installed.

Code:
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon)
# uname -i
i386

# rpm -Uhv ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/enterprise/3/en/os/i386/SRPMS/libaio-0.3.96-3.src.rpm

Retrieving ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/enterprise/3/en/os/i386/SRPMS/libaio-0.3.96-3.src.rpm
   1:libaio                 ########################################### [100%]

# rpm -q libaio-0.3.96-3
package libaio-0.3.96-3 is not installed

]# rpm -Uhv http://pagesperso-orange.fr/sebastien.godard/sysstat-8.1.2-1.src.rpm

Retrieving http://pagesperso-orange.fr/sebastien.godard/sysstat-8.1.2-1.src.rpm
   1:sysstat                ########################################### [100%]

# rpm -q sysstat-8.1.2-1
package sysstat-8.1.2-1 is not installed

Those are SOURCE rpms. What you really want is libaio-0.3.96-3.rpm and the like. If you install the source rpm's, I think they go to /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386 or whatever and then you there you can start compiling them or whatever. Sorry, I haven't done src.rpm installs in years.
