which distro is with gcc 2.95.3


hi,
can you suggest a distro which has gcc 2.95.3 as default compiler. i wanna install rtlinux and u have any idea about it.

Does "rtlinux" specify you need exactly that version of gcc (i.e. version 2.95.0 wound't do)?

I'm afraid the best method of even trying to find that out is use Google to find packages for a certain distribution..but if you really want that compiler, why not install a distribution with a binary package manager (that's the easiest way) what has the mentioned version of gcc in some reposity (google for that), then install that gcc on the distribution and use it to compile code?

i have to install a fresh kernel such as 2.6.9 but my gcc does not compile it which is 4.0.1 i heard that gcc 2.95.3 can compile every kernel. i tried to install gcc 2.95.3rpm package but i didnt overcome. so i decided to install a new linux which has gcc 2.95.3 default. i m sure that you understand i m a newbie on linux so i could not install gcc 2.95.3
is there any suggestion for this problem.
