vim install error


vim editor will install.
[root@localhost root]# rpm --rebuild vim-6.1-29.src.rpm
--rebuild: unknown option
why this message occurs?

Because you have ignored rpmbuild until now. These options have been dropped from "rpm" finally. Use rpmbuild.
