Upgrading Perl using CPAN on Red Hat ES 3

Hi there --

I have ES3 running Perl 5.8.0, and I want to upgrade to the latest version via CPAN. What is the correct syntax to use if I can do the upgrade this way? Specically, what it the name for the package?
