Actually, even I have Redhat 9 on my computer and looking at the various conditions i.e. Support for Redhat 9 by Redhat is no longer there and Fedora Core is only sponsored by Redhat.
I would recommend you to go for Fedora Core 4, if the work on the PC is not enterprise based and related to the official matters.
If it is, I would recommend to go for Redhat Enterprise Edition instead of updating packages and other things.
If you are not particular about Redhat, you can have a look at
http://www.distrowatch.com for different distros and their usability.
Or for particularly redhat ...
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=redhat
this should give you what you are asking for....
However, Enterprise Linux should not be difficult to acquire.
