now it seems that bash_history file is empty. senior is asking to see dmesg log to have an idea why the system crashed

If your 'senior' is asking for this, they are totally aware that dmesg is going to be POINTLESS to look at, right? Not going to go back that far, and won't show you ANYTHING about why the system dumped and/or was rebooted. And AGAIN, asking Red Hat support to analyze an SOSreport would absolutely tell you what is going on...why are you not doing that? The fact that their .bash_history is empty is telling, since that doesn't get deleted by accident.
