Angry Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (9,1)


I am trying to install RHEL 4 AS update 4, bootin from sata CD drive it is giving error Kernal panic-not syncing VFS- unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (9,1). please help

Latest RHEL 4 is 4.8. Try obtaining latest media.
