trying to connect redhat 6.4 to windows active directory, ussing SSSD/LDAP

I been loosing my mind trying to make this work

i fallowed numerous online guides to set this connection and at best i can get what it seens to be a updated /etc/passwd files but this file only contains information for users that exist both localy and in the AD server, and it won´t show up the info for the AD exclusive users

what am I missing? is there something the AD admin have to do? he told me he has enabled SSSD already

what about /etc/openldap/cacerts, its empty, is the cert suppose to be created automatically when i make the connection, or is this something the AD admin have to give me?

Code:
openssl s_client -connect ldap.example.com:636 -showcerts
will give you the CA cert.

I recommend getting an ldapsearch to work off the AD server first before tying it into applications. This can help you debug and will give you more information as to what's going on.
