Hello friend,
If you have downloaded the right Kernel NTFS Module RPM which is bearing the same kernel version and type as your original kernel have then you need not worry.
Just type in these commands:
Issue the command when logged in as 'root':
mount -t ntfs 'device name' 'mount directory'
'device name'= It can be /dev/hda1, /dev/hda5 or if you have SATA /dev/sda1, /dev/sda5
Check that out in the HARDWARE BROWSER SECTION in System Settings Menu.
'mount directory'= It is the name and path of directory you created for mounting the partition. It normally resides inside the /mnt directory. Example are:
/mnt/ntfs_c
/mnt/ntfs_d
