Shared folder between Windows server 2012 and linux servers

Hi,

We have a windows 2012 server and 2 two Linux servers (SLES 11 and RHEL 6) that must share a folder.
What's the best technical solution in order to do this ?
Is Samba the right choice ?

Thanks

Samba would be the most common method of sharing a folder and there's plenty of "how-to" articles available for it.
