Search text in files remotely

Hi

My friend is getting comlpaints from his service provider that his server is sending some spam mails.

SMTP port is blocked.

I would like to know how do I search all file (php, html, htm, php3) remotely that contain the phrase [b]mail([b] ?

Downloading all of it would take time.

Im using FileZilla.
Server OS : Redhat.
Control Panel : CPanelX

Thanks

ssh and grep

I believe the easiest way would be to log on to the server through ssh or telnet, and then use the grep program.
