SCO to Red Hat migration question

I have a SCO OpenServer Release 5 unix box that's coming to the end of it's lifespan. If I replace this with a version of RedHat Enterprise will I have to recompile all my applications for them to run under Red Hat Enterprise?

I assume you are talking about custom in-house applications? I would say that yes you will need to recompile them, if not edit the source itself just to get them to compile. I am not familiar with SCO software, but I do know that a Linux binary will not run on FreeBSD without recompilation, so I think you can expect the same...
