Hi all,

I'm a linux newby.

I installed a new Red Had AS 4 server but now I want to run X applications from my windows XP machine, is it possible??

What tools do I need to use?
What's the best windows terminal with ssh protocol support?

Thanks in advance for your support

from? what kind of from is this? over a network? a native application ON XP?? you need to help us help you... if you want to log into a remote linxu box from XP and run stuff, then you need an X server on your windows machine. I suggest looking at xdeep32.

Hello acid_kewpie,

You pointed me in the right way, xdeep32 is the tool that I'm looking for.

Thanks a lot.

I suggest that you use Xming or Cygwin/X. They are ports of the open-source X.org X server to Windows; the latter uses Cygwin, the former does not.
