RHES5 where is X11?

Hello,

The directory structure for X11 seems to have changed from RHES4 to 5. Under 4 there was /usr/X11R6/{bin, lib, include, etc} under 5 it seems to have moved. I have found most of what was under /usr/X11R6/bin in /usr/bin. There is very little still under /usr/X11R6

My question is, is this documented somewhere? I would like to find out where everything got moved to. I have searched the web but keep finding documents that describe the old way.

Thank you,

Most of the apps were moved to various directories in /usr. This was brought about by the xorg developers when they moved to a modular xserver. I couldn't find any docs with the info you need, but you could ask for info on the xorg developers mailing list or forums.

Thank you for your help. I started wondering if I had done something wrong during the installation.

BTW at the end of your message there was a link that goes to a donation site what is this. I've never seen it.

Thank you

The site is called Affero. Its basically for rating peoples responses on forums and donating to a good cause if you wish. The money collected on my behalf goes to Cancer Research UK, KDE and FreeBSD.
