RHEL5 Replacing WIN2K Active Directory

I'm wondering if anyone has experience replacing a windows 2000 Active Directory Domain server with a RHEL5 server.

I have heard people are not happy with converting to a Red Hat Domain?

What has been your experience and what tools and documentation did you use to perform the migration?

No one has any insight, no one has played with samba, openldap or RHEL Directory Server?

I have use it before to set up a couple of network services. There are instructions there on how to set up Samba to authenticate windows boxes. Although I haven't tried it, it should not be too hard to follow. I hope this helps!
