RHEL5 Domain Controller & DNS with microsoft XP client support

Hi,
Myself sam, I had tried to build up my linux box as Domain Controller and DNS for serving clients of windows xp. But it didn't succeded. Its always giving error of DNS SRV record. I already created SRV records and the service is also started. Please Send me the complete configuration of LDAP CUM DNS on rhel5.

The complete configuration? I hope that's a joke, we can't just give you that, it makes no sense. If you have DNS errors, then you need to learn and understand more about DNS, presumably BIND in your case. There's the BIND howto at tldp.org and also very many useful manuals about BIND. LDAP certainly has *NOTHING* to do with DNS so you are likley to be mixing up the roles and responsibilities of the services that would combine to provide what you appear to want.

Look at "389 Directory" package for RHEL and Fedora. Also take a look at http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4 and http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Franky . Samba4 is still in Alpha stage tho.
