RHEL4 with java 1.5


Hi everyone.
I have RHEL4 AS. She is come with java 1.4 version.
I installed java 1.5 without problems but the java version is not change.
the new version path is /usr/local/
How to remove old version?

Which version of Sun's Java did you install, sounds like you did not use the rpm version??? You might want to review this thread;

When done please show the output from the command;

/usr/sbin/alternatives --display java
