RHEL question about what apps are supported

Hi,

I was wondering if my company goes ahead and purchases RHEL licensing, will the applications that come with the disto be supported by Red Hat as well? More specifically, if we went ahead and used Squid as our proxy solution, would Red Hat offer to support it?

Believe so, you have to use the squid rpm they provide. You might want to check what version they are on as it's usually further behind.

I've submitted support requests about certain apps, they were somewhat helpful.

For rhel 5.1 I am showing:

squid-2.6.STABLE6-4.el5.i386.rpm
