Believe so, you have to use the squid rpm they provide. You might want to check what version they are on as it's usually further behind.
I've submitted support requests about certain apps, they were somewhat helpful.
For rhel 5.1 I am showing:
squid-2.6.STABLE6-4.el5.i386.rpm
