Hello everybody,
Yesterday i needed to install the gnome development packages and KDE desktop enviroment in one server with RHEL AS 3.8 (using the graphical package manager), KDE installed with no problems, but when i selected the gnome development and press the update button, i got a message window telling me that the package :
XFree86-data-libs is not locatable and that it is needed by XFree86-4.3.0-115.EL ..... nothing very extrange until here but..
then i checked in a terminal with : rpm -q -a|grep XFree86-data-libs and the package appears as installed.

....i found the rpm of the package and reinstalled it via command line, with no luck, actually this machine does not have internet access to run an up2date.
what can i do to solve this?

pd: this happens when i try to install any of the graphical enviroment development packages.
thanks in advance to all of you.
