A few weeks ago I installed RHEL 6 on a server installed some software and got everything up and running, no problems. Yestuday afternoon I tried loggin onto the system localy using my credentials and it told me I put in the wrong password. Tried root same thing, tried a cooworkers credetials and same thing. These where the same credentials we used sense I loaded the machine. I rebooted the system droped it into runtime level 1, passwd root account, reboot and tried to log in using root and still wrong password.

Does anyone know what whent wrong here?

What does /var/log/secure say?

Log said I did a stupid. I configured winbind to connect to AD but the system-auth config file was all screwed up.
