RHEL 4 Installer Choices: I want to see the packages associated with these choices.


Redhat, RHEL 4 specifically, installers have categories of choices. So how does it know what to install? Is there a manifest? What program chooses the manifest?

Here are those choices BTW:

RHEL 4

Just keep going with the installation process and your questions will be answered. Nothing is installed or modified until you answer a very blunt question at the end of the setup process.

You will get the option to customize what is installed toward the end of the setup process. And if you are concerned about missing something, select the “install everything” option. It only takes about 7-8GB of disk space.

Thanks for the reply, but you didn't understand what I meant. The correct answer is:

comps.xml That's what Anaconda uses.
